Wednesday, January 13, 2010 - Vauclain Fire Company received its last item through the Homeland Security Assistance to Firefighters Grant. A new Bullard T4MAX Thermal Imaging Camera. This is the top of line imager from Bullard. On behalf of the Vauclain Fire Company we would like to thank the folks from the Homeland Security Department on our award. With the grant we were able to purchase new Personal Protective Equipment for all active firefighters, new Scott Self Contained Breathing Apparatus, the Plymovent exhaust removal system and the Bullard thermal imaging camera. The total award amount was $113,000.00!
