Vehicle Fire

Friday, July 17, 2015   At 00:15 hours Company 70(Leedom)  and Company 62(S.M. Vauclain) was dispatched to I-95 SB at Stewart Ave for the vehicle fire. Engine 70 arrived with a vehicle well involve and initiated fire attack. Upon the arrival of Engine 62 the crew help assist with fire attack.

Ship Fire at Penn Terminals

Monday, July 13, 2015  This morning the Engine responded to Penn Terminals in Eddystone for ship fire. Engine 62 crew was place in service to search the upper decks of the ship for extension. The fire was found to be contained to the engine room, where a heavy fire load was extinguished. Smoke and heat filled the rest of the ship. No injuries were reported.

Monday, July 6, 2015  This time the rescue transfer to Station 8(Prospect Park Fire Company) while they operated at 4 Alarm Commercial Structure Fire. We covered with Engines 13 and 70



Accident with Fuel Spill

Sunday, July 5, 2015  Rescue 62 and Engine 70 were dispatched to an accident with injuries, while responding the assignment was upgraded to an accident with entrapment. Upon arrival crews found that they had negative entrapment, but a large amount of fuel on the highway from a ruptured saddle tank. Engine 12 was added for manpower. The crews was on scene for over 5 hours while the clean up took place.

Sunday, July 5, 2015  Rescue 62 and Engine 70 handled a 2 vehicle crash to the I95



Transfer to Station 8

Thursday, July 2, 2015  Engine 62 transferred to Station 8 (Prospect Park Fire Company) while they assisted Station 01(Folcroft Fire Company) with a building fire. No calls were answered during the cover, but we did take advantage of their forcible entry training prop.



Training Night

Monday, June 29, 2015  This week for drill, we went down to station 12 (Eddystone Fire Company) to utilize their on site training structure. Multiple scenarios were done by the 8 members who participated. Thank you station 12.



Car Fires on the Interstate

We have been keeping busy on the Interstate this week. On Saturday 6/13 early in the morning we had a fully involved van fire. On Wednesday 6/17 in the afternoon we had a fully involved SUV fire. Also on Wednesday 6/17 during rush hour we were dispatched to a report of a car fire, upon arrival we found an over heated car. No injuries were reported at any of the car fires.

EMS Assist Boeing for Family Day

Saturday, May 16, 2015  627 spent the day standing by with Boeing Fire Company during Boeing's Family Day. We assisted with multiple medical emergencies throughout the day.
